    Hi Alyssa,

This post is very enlightening to me. I myself am a big advocate among my friends for not smoking because of the negative effect cigarettes have on ones body and health. Unfortunately you can only do so much for others behaviors, though after reading the article you have posted here I find myself re-evaluating my habits of waiting along outside with them. I had an interesting experience this weekend which really impacts how critical this situation is. I found myself in North Shore Tahoe at the casinos, it is interesting how if I had read this post before than I imagine it would have been much harder to be “okay” with the cigarette smoke for just that night. Having a close relative die from breast cancer and one from lung cancer, I feel I have an increased risk level so it is really good to know I can do more than just not smoke myself, but also not be around smokers too.
